Two people sit with their backs to the camera. A folding chair stands between them. Beyond the slope, two palms rise above the city, and the light reaches across the distant water.
Their shadows stretch back through the grass, into the space where we are looking from. Most of the frame belongs to the evening view; the small seated figures give it a human scale.
