At the edge of the foam
A curved edge of white foam separates turquoise water from a broad area of wet sand dotted with small bubbles. Photography by Lu Heng.

A white edge curves across the upper half of the photograph. Blue-green water lies beyond it; in front, a broad area of sand is left visible, with scattered bubbles and thin traces of foam.
The wave edge offers a line to follow from one side to the other. Below it, the quieter surface of the sand gives those small remaining marks room to stand out.
