Drops under the eaves
Drops hang and fall beneath the dark, uneven edge of a roof, against soft green and pale blue in the background. Photography by Lu Heng.

The roof cuts a dark, uneven line across the photograph. Drops cling to its pointed edges, while others appear separately in the pale space below. Green in the background gives way to light blue.
Looking up brings a small part of the rain into view. The eye can move from a drop still attached to the roof to one already falling, without needing to see the ground or the whole building.
