Edge of night seen from above

A thin horizon glows—pale yellow melting into indigo. Beneath it, a web of lights traces human presence across the land.

A yellow band of light along the horizon above a dark landscape dotted with city lights, seen from the air.

A thin horizon glows—pale yellow melting into indigo. Beneath it, a web of lights traces human presence across the land. The brightest cluster marks a city’s heart; the rest fade outward, scattered like falling embers.
The upper half of the frame is almost pure darkness, a space that seems endless. The lower half vibrates with faint patterns, roads and towns barely visible under the deepening blue.
What begins as a simple view from the sky turns into something more abstract. The world below feels miniature, the colours more emotional than real. Between the fading day and the waiting night, the photo holds a single quiet breath.
