Following the curve

The near bank curves around the water before tapering toward the sea. Dark ground on the left meets a narrow green edge; across the blue channel, small buildings sit on low land.
The curve provides a route through the photograph. Follow it from the lower edge and the enclosed water gradually opens into the thin blue line of the sea. The large, clear sky makes that change easy to see.
