A vessel beneath the stars

Night falls completely except for one small boat holding its place on the lake. From its hull, light pours outward in sheets of blue, cutting across the black water. The glow curves along the surface, fading slowly until it disappears into shadow. Above, the faint stars echo the light below—small, distant, but steady.
The boat’s reflection stretches thin and golden, trembling where water meets air.
The image is simple: one light, one sky, infinite dark. Yet it carries motion—the sense of time slowed down to a heartbeat, the quiet certainty of something finding its place in emptiness.
