Stunning Aerial View of Apple Park in Cupertino

An aerial photograph of Apple Park in Cupertino explores its circular architecture, surrounding landscape and relationship with nature.

Apple Park’s broad circular building surrounds a planted courtyard, with lawns and trees in the foreground, roads to the right and Cupertino stretching into the distance.

Apple Park looks like a serene spacecraft in the center of Cupertino, its circular design nestling into the site, with the surrounding landscape echoing the nearby hills. The gently curving central building, known as The Spaceship, allows glass and steel to coexist with stone, lawns, gardens and rows of trees. The result is a relationship with nature that encourages movement and meditation through open spaces and tree-covered walkways.

The growing meadows within the ring reflect respect for nature and a dedication to sustainability. The other buildings around the perimeter serve a range of functions on campus, where workspaces and research facilities all sit below the tree line as an extension of the existing landscape.

A pale blue sky above spills light over the scene and blurs the edges of trees and buildings, creating a feeling of stillness across the campus. The shadows cast by the trees and the reflective surfaces of glass and steel create a shared rhythm between built form and living, breathing architecture.

The photograph captures scale and nuance: its forms demonstrate elegance, while its details reveal the thought behind each curve. It is not simply a view of buildings, but a vision of how human ingenuity and the natural world can coexist—a place where work, inspiration and daily life can be brought together.
