A door against the evening sky
A raised door and thin white headlights give shape to a red car in evening shadow. Photography by Lu Heng.

A single raised door cuts into the pale sky. The low buildings and lamp posts form a dark strip behind the car, which is itself largely in shadow.
The headlights leave two thin white lines across the front. Follow them around the bonnet and the outline becomes easier to read, while the open sky holds most of the light.
