Tail lights by the pavement
Red tail lights draw the eye through a grey street scene, seen from behind a dark sports car. Photography by Lu Heng.

The red tail lights trace the back of the car above a yellow number plate. Reflections soften the dark bodywork, carrying parts of the surrounding street across its curved surface.
The brick pavement runs alongside it toward blurred cars and lamps. Bare branches reach into the grey sky. The colour stays close to us, while the everyday street continues into the distance.
