The green car occupies the right side of a marked parking space. Beyond the low barrier, coloured seat backs make a small row before the mountain ridges. Bare branches spread across the upper right of the picture.
The words “Arashiyama, March 2019” sit in the open sky. The car’s bright colour catches the eye first; the layers of mountains give it somewhere else to go.
