Edge of Night Seen from Above
An aerial view follows the last band of daylight across the horizon while scattered city lights emerge beneath an expanse of deepening blue.

A narrow horizon glows pale yellow, gradually giving way to indigo. Below it, a web of lights traces human presence across the land. The brightest concentration suggests the centre of a city, while smaller clusters scatter outward like fading embers.
The upper half of the frame is almost entirely dark, creating a sense of open, immeasurable space. Beneath it, faint patterns of roads and settlements remain just visible in the deepening blue.
What begins as a straightforward view from the air becomes increasingly abstract. The world below appears miniature, and its colours feel more emotional than literal. Between the last daylight and the approaching night, the photograph holds a single quiet breath.
