Before We Explain the World

Water Close By

A fountain, a stream, foam on sand, then water dripping from a roof. After the distant views, the visit ends with small movements close by. There may be a drop of water worth noticing on the way out.

Behind the camera

Before We Explain the World

These photographs are one of the ways I have looked at the world over the past twenty years. Behind each one is a moment and an experience.

From the orange at the window to mountains, cities, people and water dripping from a roof, perhaps two or three images have stayed with you. I am Lu Heng, the person behind the camera. My Notes hold the questions I keep asking.
