Water Close By
A little water rises from a stone bowl; a stream falls over rock. Two views of the shore bring the eye down to foam and wet sand. The last photograph looks up at drops beneath a roof. After the distant views, these small movements bring the exhibition close to where we stand.

Behind the camera
Before We Explain the World
These photographs are one of the ways I have looked at the world over the past twenty years. Behind each one is a moment and an experience.
From the orange at the window to mountains, cities, people and water dripping from a roof, perhaps two or three images have stayed with you. I am Lu Heng, the person behind the camera. My Notes hold the questions I keep asking.
