Close to the sand
Low green plants and branching stems fill the foreground. Beyond the sand, a wreck is out of focus beside the bright water. Photography by Lu Heng.

The camera is close to the sand. Thick green leaves, fine branches and the shadows between them are sharply visible. Farther away, a broken ship softens into a tilted shape beside the light on the water.
The distant wreck could easily take all the attention. Here, the small plants come first. Looking from their branching stems to the blurred hull makes the stretch of sand between them noticeable.
