Geometry of a Vanished Flame

The night opens around a round burst of light. Fine blue-white and gold trails radiate from the centre, their rapid movement arrested in the frame. With no horizon or ground for scale, the firework becomes a self-contained form against the black sky: energetic in origin, yet delicate in stillness.
Colour reshapes the darkness. Cool blue-white lines mingle with warmer gold, and each strand fades as it travels away from the centre. The eye follows the pattern outward and then back again, tracing the retreat of light into night. What begins as spectacle settles into structure.
Stay with the photograph and the firework becomes a meditation on vanishing. Every streak records a short passage through time; every spark defines itself as it disappears. The camera preserves not only the burst but its fading geometry—the luminous residue left after sound and flame have passed.
