Aerial View of City Skyline in Mist

This photo shows a city skyline from a high angle with a slight fog. Tall skyscrapers are stacked layer upon layer, their shapes blurred by the haze, giving a sense of depth and illusion. The bottom end of the city, which has a good mix of open land and shorter buildings, is clearer. The effect is that the whole scene is somewhat otherworldly, with the mist blurring the lines of the buildings and weaving the city-scape into the nebulous sky-line above.
