The frame is almost empty — a horizon stretched so thin it could vanish. Above it, the last light of day spreads wide, gold dissolving into soft pink. Below, the reflection deepens into indigo, the colour of distance and quiet. The surface is smooth enough to blur sky and water into one continuous space.
There are no landmarks, only tone and temperature. The sky darkens without losing warmth; the sea glows without moving. The photograph feels suspended, like time has folded into colour.
This is light at rest — no longer day, not yet night. A moment that holds nothing but stillness, and somehow fills everything.
