Lu Heng at ITW Asia

At first glance, it’s a standard conference image — a speaker, a screen, a pattern of sponsors behind. But the longer one looks, the more deliberate it becomes. Lu Heng stands in alignment with the edge of the projection, his shadow cut cleanly by light. The text behind him, “The Path Forward,” reads almost like a caption for his expression.

The composition works by symmetry and contrast. The left side glows with white and pink; the right, with deep blue and moving lines of data. Between them, Lu Heng becomes the bridge, the human interval where explanation happens. His stance is neither posed nor casual; it carries the restraint of someone aware that thought has a rhythm too.
